Smart Agriculture XR App by ACE Lab, OCAD University 

*As this project hasn’t been published yet, this prototype only demos the UI and UX interactions; full functionality (AI-intergrated version) is not yet available to the public.

This is a research project aims to empowers farmers with immersive data insights to optimize agricultural practices, improve operational efficiency, and reduce environmental impacts through AI, XR, and IoT technologies. The following concept showcases my work on the project, including:

   • Functional XR Prototype built in Unity and implemented on Quest 3.

   • Spatial UI/UX design : A. Try On-Site Prototype (Figma Ver.) B. Try Off-Site Prototype (Figma Ver.)

Functional XR Prototype


Data Visualization

This page provides basic information about the field, showing weather, crop conditions, and harvest details.


Dynamic User Interface

An animated user interface provides users with dynamic and intuitive perception.


Field Pin Creation

Create field pins to add notes or interact with AI to learn more about the selected location.


AI Activation

Talk to AI to get real time farming suggestions based on your field.


Work Mode Transition


Seamlessly transition between Off-Site and On-Site Work Mode.


Ground Mini Map


A mini-map follows users on the field, indicating the locations of pins created within off-site planning mode.


Pin on Field


Check created pin notes on the actual field at the exact locations marked on the off-site planning field model.


Auto Following & Draggable Panels

Panels automatically follow the user’s view but can be placed wherever preferred.
